Financial Assistance
Deaconess Health System treats all patients, regardless of their ability to pay, for emergent and medically necessary care. The Financial Assistance policy of Deaconess assists those who are uninsured, low income or medically indigent by providing financial relief to those who ask for assistance after healthcare has been provided.
As part of the financial counseling application process, the hospital will assess your potential eligibility for health insurance coverage through federal and state programs such as Medicaid. If it is determined that you may be eligible for one of these programs, the hospital will request that you apply.
To be considered for financial assistance, please complete and submit an application (with requested attachments).
