Heart Care

(Pediatric Cardiology)

Deaconess Hospital is proud to bring the expertise of the Riley Heart Center to our Pediatric Cardiology Clinic. Newborns, children, adolescents, teens and young adults receive expert care for congenital heart defects and acquired cardiovascular diseases, including:

  • Murmur
  • Congenital Malformations

  • Prenatal Consultation of Fetal Anomalies

Our heart care includes child-friendly cardiac ECHOs without a long wait time for appointments, EKGs designed for children, and ambulatory cardiac monitoring services. Our highly trained heart team has developed a multi-step approach to dealing with hyperlipidemia, pediatric obesity care, and hypertension. The team also provides ongoing diagnostics and monitoring of children with congenital heart defects that continues after the child has reached 18 years old.

Dr. Huda Elshershari and Sara Dillon, RN, C-PNP are available daily, by appointment, to evaluate patients.
