Constipation in children is a common problem and is characterized by infrequent bowl movements or hard, dry stools. Various factors can lead to constipation in children. Common causes include early toilet training and changes in diet. Fortunately, most causes of constipation in children are temporary and easily treatable.
Our nurse practitioners are happy to see children with constipation to help sort out all the issues involved and develop a plan with you to help your child.
