You are here: Deaconess Clinic > Clinical Research > Nocturia

Nocturia is the need to get up several times a night to urinate.  It can be a challenging condition because it interferes with getting an appropriate amount of sleep at night. People who frequently need to urinate during their regular sleep hours often get less deep sleep than they should, and may exhibit sleepiness or exhaustion during the day.

If you or someone you know are getting up frequently at night to urinate, you may qualify for a free physician evaluation, study medication and compensation as part of a research study of a new investigational nasal spray.  You must be at least 50 years old to participate.

If you are interested in learning more about this study, please call the Deaconess Research Info-Line at 812-474-7184 or toll free 877-654-0311, or visit
