Have you had a Heart Attack?
If you have had a heart attack you may be eligible to have a blood test to determine your eligibility to join a clinical research study. This blood test measures your hsCRP (high sensitivity C-reactive protein) level. hsCRP is a naturally occurring chemical in the bloodstream that reflects ongoing inflammation in the body.
In patients who have had a heart attack, many patients will continue to have ongoing inflammation in their blood vessels supplying the heart (coronary arteries), and this may be reflected by an elevated hsCRP level.
If you, or someone you know has had a heart attack, you may qualify for a free physician evaluation, study medication and compensation as part of a research study conducted at Deaconess Clinic. You must be at least 18 years of age to qualify.
Health insurance is not required for participation
