Employees Recognized for Leadership

3/19/2014
Congratulations to Deaconess employees Nancy Koehler, Charlie Bockelman, and Gail Lee, who were recognized at last night's Celebration of Leadership event. Each year, Leadership Evansville asks the community to nominate friends and co-workers for a variety of leadership categories. This year, Deaconess was honored to have three employees selected as recipients. Nancy Koehler received the Servant Leader award for her years of dedication to local non-profit organizations. Charlie Bockelman received the Individual Health and Social Service award for donating a kidney to his co-worker's husband and bringing awareness to the importance of being an organ donor. Gail Lee was recognized for her work with "Library Books for Inmates" - a program that hands out books to men and women in the Vanderburgh and Posey County Jails. We are so proud of our hospital family members and commend them for their efforts to better our community, while at work and in their spare time.
