Taking the First Step
New Patient Weight Loss Solutions Seminars
See calendar of classes below.
Deaconess Weight Loss Solutions offers weight loss options, including gastric bypass and Lap Band surgery. If you would like to learn more about these surgical weight loss options, please join us at our informational seminar held at Evansville Surgical Associates, 520 Mary Street, Suite 350. Evansville Surgical Associates is located in the Deaconess Physician Center on the main campus of Deaconess Hospital. Parking is available in the lot across from the building or in the adjacent parking garage.
At the Seminar, you will be provided with a packet of information about weight loss surgery. If you are interested in becoming one of our patients, we will request that you complete paperwork that will help us assist you. Please bring your insurance card(s) with you to the seminar so you will be able to accurately complete the required paperwork.
There is no charge to attend the seminar, and no reservation is needed. Please feel free to bring your spouse or supporting friend. All new patients are required to attend one new patient seminar before they can be scheduled for an evaluation with Dr. Sieboldt, Bariatrician, Deaconess Weight Loss Solutions.
Support Group Meetings
All prospective and post-operative patients are invited to attend our free monthly support groups. Our guest speakers discuss issues that relate to nutrition, exercise, emotional stress, lifestyles and social interaction.
Before surgery, all patients are required to attend at least one support group prior to surgery. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to interact with our patients who have gone through the surgery and ask them questions.
After surgery, as you implement the changes to a healthier lifestyle, you will inevitably have questions. Support groups are an excellent resource where you can talk to people who understand the challenges you're facing.
Please be assured that all patient information is completely confidential. We do not share any information without written permission from the patient.
