Treatment and Evaluation Programs

Therapists at Deaconess COMP Center work closely with employers, physicians and case managers to suggest treatment programs, which may include any of a variety of services, including:
  • Acute interventions to reduce pain and improve mobility, stability, strength and/or tolerance for specific work-related activities
  • Work conditioning and work hardening programs to recondition employees who have been off duty or on restricted duty for an
  • extended period
  • Physical therapy
  • Educational and prevention programs
  • Occupational therapy
  • Functional capacity evaluations
  • Job modifications
  • Post-offer physical capability testing
  • Quantifying job demands for specific job descriptions

Specially Trained Staff

Our therapy staff includes occupational and physical therapists. Staff members are specially trained to focus on the needs of workers.

  • Include body mechanics education as part of the treatment plans
